Review: Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Serum

 As you probably already know the benefit of green tea for skin. Green tea extract is associated with several skin benefits, it is good for anti-aging and acne-clearing as well. This time, I'll be reviewing this well-known and highly raved product: Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Serum.



Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum is a moisturising serum with organic Jeju green tea and green tea seed that claims to hydrate your skin from deep within. Unlike the other serums, this is the first skincare product to apply right after facial wash. It helps hold moisture in skin and prevents moisture loss, also help to prepare your skin for your following skin care products to works better and maximized.


THE PACKAGING
It comes in a pumped bottle with a fitted plastic cap which make it easy to close and secure it when travelling.

COST

This product cost IDR 340,000 for 80ml.

TEXTURE AND SCENT

The texture is liquid and lightweight. It doesn't feel sticky upon application and absorbs quickly into skin.


HOW TO USE
Pump a drop of serum into palm and apply it onto your cleansed face and neck. Make sure to use it right after facial wash and before toner. Dap it using fingertips to let it absorbs better.

CONCLUSION

Pro
+ Lightweight and absorbs quickly
Reasonable price for a serum
+ Not oily at all, suitable for oily skin
+ Free from paraben and mineral oil

Cons

- Contains alcohol and fragrance, caused redness on my skin right after using (I have sensitive skin).

FINAL THOUGHTS
After two weeks trying this product, I didn't see significant change on my skin. I know, it's very short period of time to test out of a product. I found this product feels nice and refreshing applying this product after facial wash.
