Spring's Print Styling Tips

"...but the thing is this, after a while

you just want to be with the one that makes you laugh."

—Mr. Big, Sex And The City

When you feel like you have nothing to wear, it’s always the easiest to reach for basic black. But, as the temperatures slowly creep up (and then sometimes dip back down) and heavy rains shower the roof, you might want to wear something to lighten your mood, wearing an entire ensemble of drab colors is out of the question.

Since pattern-mixing is a move that can elude even the most fashion-forward, I'd like to share three easy styling tips, so seat back and take a sip of your coffee.

Make A Bold Statement

Let the accessories take the action. Got a bag with loads of personality? While it would be easy to style it with solid-color seperates, cullotes or high waisted pants will do just fine. Add sparkle on the heels and you are ready to go.

Print On Print

Print over plain are boring, you always can pair print with print. Consider these are neutrals print: stripes, polka dots, and checks all fit the bill. You can layer up one of these neutrals print with bright floral print for a playful outfit that's ideal for weekend dates and brunches.

Similar Pattern

You can wear two of the same pattern, as long as the combined color palette isn't totally wack. And paired up with black, white or nude sandals for summery vibes.
